Unreal Engine 5.3+

To better meet the needs of developers who purchase Iron Edge products and provide a more diverse range of products at better prices and with more optimization, this update is specifically for Unreal Engine 5.3 and above. Future updates will no longer support versions 5.0, 5.1, and 5.2.

Expanding Our Arsenal: From High-Modularity to Traditional Weapons

Iron Edge collections are designed for games like Call of Duty, Escape From Tarkov, DayZ, and others that require high modularity with top-notch quality. We also want to better serve those who seek traditional weapons, such as for games in the style of Counter-Strike, which feature unique weapons without modifications, or for games that only allow attachment modifications and not weapon parts. For this, we recommend using the Magic Merge package, which allows for the merging of SM models with SKs, reducing material slots, and reducing textures. This package has been tested and guarantees excellent results for these cases.

A special thanks to the creator of the Magic Merge package, who was very receptive and added the function for merging static and skeletal meshes at the request of Iron Edge.

We will soon be launching new products—traditional weapons without modularity, for those seeking simpler, less modular weapons with high quality.

New Painting System - From New to Old!

  • Painting System: Iron Edge's main weapon components now feature smart materials that allow you to paint the Frame and Slide in any color you desire. Additionally, you have the option to add wear and tear effects to the paint.

  • Camouflage: Similar to the painting system, this feature allows for the customization of a seamless texture or personalized paint, with the option to add wear and tear. For camouflage with seamless texture, the Triplanar function can be used to ensure continuous details.

  • New and Used: With three dedicated masks for controlling dirt effects, such as dirt particles, dust, and burn marks from shots, another mask for oil stains and fingerprints, and a third for scratches, you can now present weapons as brand new, as if just bought, or as heavily used, war-torn and dirty.

Semi and Non-Modular (Traditional)

The 9TD now features a range of non-modular and semi-modular models. It is available in three main versions, each with various model variations, all utilizing a single Skeletal Mesh. This approach is ideal for projects that do not require modularity, offering a more streamlined and straightforward solution.
